 Sílvia Socorro, investigadora do CICS-UBI e docente da FCS, foi galardoada com o Prémio Professor Alexandre Moreira 2018-2019, que distingue o melhor projeto de investigação, na área de Andrologia, Medicina Sexual e Reprodução, o qual foi atribuído no XVII Congresso Nacional da SPA - XVI Reunião Ibérica, que se realizou entre os dias 3 e 5 junho em Évora.

O projeto intitula-se: "Identificação de novos efeitos dos fatores hormonais na regulação da função do epidídimo e maturação dos espermatozoides de rato" e foi premiado no valor de 5000€. Muitos parabéns Professora Sílvia!

The creation of this blog came from a challenge posed to Masters students of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã (Portugal), by Professor Doctor José Eduardo Cavaco within the course "Project in Biomedical Sciences''. The Biomedical Sciences combine the areas of Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Management and Engineering, stimulating the capacity for self learning, critical thinking and adaptation to new technologies. Thus, the Biomedics integration in different areas of the national and international job market is possible as technical supporters in clinical environment, consulting, industry, education and research.
